Deutsche Bank Benefits From BaFin VaR Cut

BaFin, the German regulator, allowed Deutsche Bank AG a capital benefit from reducing its value-atrisk multiplier, which reduced capital requirements by 11.1 billion euros in the fourth quarter. The bank reduced the proportion of capital it needs to hold against its trading assets to the lowest level since 2010.
